Drawing players from some of the region’s finest brass bands, PLC Brass was formed by musicians keen to push themselves with something a little more challenging than the normal brass repertoire.

The music available for brass dectet is incredibly varied, and is reflected in the evening’s programme.

PLC Brass plays without the safety net of a musical director, believing this can create an unnecessary

barrier between the musicians and the audience... Instead the group relies on musical intuition, and a little luck!
