5 May 2006 St Martins High School, Stoke Golding: The John Cleveland  Big Band perform. Winners of numerous awards see the Music Departments page .
Many thanks to Asda Hinckley who allowed us to put up a display board and sell 177 Balloon race tickets and  collect donations. The total collected was £395

Balloon race, nearly 800 balloons were purchased and released on the first anniversary of the Egyptian bombing. The release was from Hollycroft park in Hinckley. Thirty balloons were returned the furthest being found in Poland (about 970 miles). There were also 4 from Germany. The race raised over £1000 including donations.

Thank you also to ASDA who let us use their helium when our gas cylinder un expectantly ran out half way through inflating the balloons.
The Wilkinson staff and friends sponsored walk on 23rd July 2006. Raised £600
Mike Gallacher and his friend Anthony ran the London 10k Race and were sponsored to the sum of £600
