The Matthew Fulham Foundation
This site is dedicated to the memory of our eldest son Matthew Fulham who tragically lost his life in the terrorist attacks on Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt on 23rd July 2005 just a day before his eighteenth birthday, whilst on holiday. He ran to help a stranger in a car that had crashed through the Ghazala Gardens Hotel reception area. That stranger detonated a 600lb bomb.
To us he is a hero, his thoughts were not for himself, but typical of Matty, he ran to aid others. Matthew was a warm, generous, fun loving, unassuming and just young man on the threshold of life.
To live in the hearts of those who love you, is not to die. This is for you son.

Music Bursary to be given again this year.
The Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council and The Matthew Fulham Foundation are proud to announce that The £1000 Music Bursary for a young musician from the borough will be announced and opened at the Christmas light switchon in the town. New application forms will be available from this site or the HBBC site, from that date which is 21 November 2008.
It hoped that last years Bursary winner Alice Gildea will perform on the night.
