Egypt's Letter Of Condolence

Please note the last line about saving no effort to provide us with all support. When Trevor Lakin asked the Egyptian’s what that meant (on behalf of the group). He had the following reply.

This letter was received on the 16 December 2005. The Foreign and commonwealth office had been sitting on until then!

So we followed the governments suggestion of suing the Egyptian government. Here as you can see they basically tell us to go away as you will not get anywhere trying to get any compensation from us. However, we will offer you a weeks holiday in Egypt! Would you want to go back to a place where your son was murdered by a suicide bomber... For a holiday!!!

Trevor acting as spokesman for the group had sent the question to the Egyptian authorities. This is their reply to saving no effort to provide us with all support
