Matthew:

How do I put 7 years of friendship into a book? I must admit it’s quite a challenge. There’s been a few laughs along the way (mainly with football at St. Martins!) Also in the art room. Rest in peace my friend Although the game seems over, it has in fact only just begun. I’ll see you again soon.

Leon Dziombak

Matt:

It was a great pleasure playing alongside you in the Jazz band and orchestra for 4 years, we had a great time and the laughs always flowed. Rest in peace – Take care.

Matt Phillips

Matt:

When I heard the tragic news I was utterly devastated. What happened top you and why is beyond my comprehension. But what I can comprehend is that I lost a terrific friend and a great mate. From the way you would say “yess, blagged it” after mumbling to a Queen song to your wish to have a good time I and every veteran of Germany will sadly miss you.

Edd Marsh

Matt:

The past 4 years have been a great 4 years. It has been a pleasure to play alongside you in the jazz band and orchestra. You are an amazing person. Rest in peace.

Love, Heather Stock

Matt:

I find it really hard to know what to write. Especially because it feels to me like you are still here. I don’t think I’ll forget any of the conversations we had (especially about the German and the Wilko’s carrier bag!). And I’ll always remember you in the happiness you were always in. Love you forever.

Fulham:

Over the past few years we’ve had so many laughs, especially in Germany, those trips were the best 2 weeks of my life and I’m glad I had the opportunity to spend them in such good company. Throughout Germany and D of E you’ve had me in stitches and without a doubt the funniest person I’ve ever met. The world will miss your humour and good nature, but at the same time I’ll never forget the memories. So long mate.

Hewi

Matt:

You are a real shining light. Words cannot express how much I am feeling and so I cannot begin to comprehend how you must be feeling. I’ll always remember arguing with you about football Matt and who was the better team, Arsenal or Chelsea. I still stand by my opinion that Chelsea are better! I’ll always remember that big cheesy grin of yours, especially after the German’s came to stay! How many times did we hear that story in the warehouse at work?!? Saturday afternoons aren’t the same without you anymore, having to stop working just to try to work out what you were mumbling about only an aisle away. In 4 years I can’t remember a bad time. You had time for everyone and always smiled. I wish I had more time to get to know you better, but I will cherish the memories I have.

Simon (Lenny)

Fulham:

Dude, the memorable things are the ones that mean the most, and you created so many for people. You were the king of morale boosting during our endless days of trekking in Snowdonia and everywhere, not to mention Germany. That voice of yours singing “Don’t stop me now”, echoing through the forest and coach. Lovely. No one will ever forget you!

Matt:

I will always remember how kind hearted you were to everyone and all the great times we had at St. Martins. You were a great friend, I will remember you always,

Dan

Fulham:

Always remember the times spent in Germany. You were truly one of my funniest friends you made us all laugh so much. It is so hard thinking that I’ll never see your smiling face again. Rest in peace.

Love, Olly

Matt:

I don’t think anyone ever thought they would be writing in here today. Its been great to have you in our form, well, since St. Martins. Rest in peace

Much Love, Stacey Foster xxx

Matt:

Nobody ever thinks they will lose a friend so young. We were all lucky to know you and I hope that you are in a better place where war and fighting is a distant memory. Rest in peace.

Matt:

We’ll always remember you! I’ve known you since St. Martins and you were always such a decent person. I can remember you laughing and joking with your mates. Something like this shouldn’t happen to such a warm and friendly person. You will always be missed

Love, Stacey Ward xxx

Matt:

We’ll always remember you for being such a nice person, laughing, joking and being yourself.

Love, Charlotte Randall

Matt:

You were a great guy and a talented, respected young musician. You will always be missed mate. I only wish I would have known you more. RIP.
